1. Chrome Web Store Data Disclosure (Limited Use Policy)

Unifie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs and the Chrome Web Store will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• No Data Selling: We explicitly do not sell your personal data or user-generated content to any third parties.
• No Unrelated Use: We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the core functionality of the extension (context management across AI models).
• No Credit-Worthiness Use: We do not use your data for credit-worthiness, lending, or any similar purposes.
• No AI Training: We explicitly do not use your personal data or user-generated context to train any AI models.

2. What Data We Collect

To provide you with our services, we collect the following limited types of data:

• Personally Identifiable Information (PII) & Credentials: When you register an account, we collect your email address, name, and password.
• Authentication Data: We securely hash and store passwords, and collect secure authentication tokens necessary to log you into your account and keep your session active.
• User-Generated Content: The text, system prompts, and context rules ("Brains" and "Memories") you explicitly create, save, or edit using our extension.
• Payment Information: If you upgrade to a Pro plan, payment details are collected directly by our payment processor. We do not store full credit card details.

Note: We absolutely do NOT collect or track your browsing history, web activity, or keystrokes outside of the designated AI chat platforms.

3. How We Use Your Data

We handle and use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:

• To provide the core functionality of the Unifie extension (e.g., retrieving your saved context and injecting it into ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini interfaces).
• To synchronize your contexts ("Brains" and "Memories") across multiple devices if you are using an account with Cloud Sync enabled.
• To process your subscription payments and manage your account status.
• To provide customer support and respond to your direct inquiries.

4. Third-Party Sharing and Disclosure

We only share your data with explicit, required third-party services that enable the extension to function. We share data with the following parties ONLY:

• Supabase (Database & Authentication): If you use Cloud Sync, your email, name, authentication tokens, and encrypted user-generated context ("Brains/Memories") are stored securely on Supabase's servers.
• Stripe (Payment Processor): If you upgrade to Pro, your email and billing information are shared with Stripe to process your subscription securely.
• Third-Party AI Platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google): Our extension functions by injecting your selected context directly into the web interfaces of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. This injection happens entirely client-side (in your browser). Once you submit a prompt on those platforms, your data becomes subject to the respective privacy policies of OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.

5. Data Storage and Security

Unifie employs a local-first architecture to maximize your privacy:

• Local Storage: By default, your context data is stored locally on your device within your browser's IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly opt-in to Cloud Sync.
• Cloud Storage: If you utilize our Cloud Sync feature, your data is securely transmitted over HTTPS and stored in our secure database (Supabase) with row-level security policies enforcing strict access controls.

6. Data Retention and Deletion (Your Rights)

You have the right to access, update, or permanently delete your personal data at any time.

• Local Data Deletion: You can instantly delete all local data by clearing the extension's storage or uninstalling the extension.
• Cloud Account Deletion: You can request complete and permanent deletion of your account, PII, and all cloud-synced context by emailing us at privacy@unifie.site. We will process data deletion requests within 14 days.
• Data Retention: We retain your cloud data only for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently erased from our Supabase database.
