Help Center & FAQs

Everything you need to know about Unifie AI and how to manage your universal context layer.

What is Unifie AI?

Unifie AI is a lightweight Chrome extension that gives ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity persistent memory. It runs quietly in the background, extracts key facts from your conversations, and injects relevant context into new chats so you never have to repeat yourself.

How does the Local-First architecture work?

Unlike other AI tools that store all your data on their servers, Unifie uses a local-first approach. By default, your "Memory Brains" are stored securely within your browser's IndexedDB. We only process data locally, meaning your private context never leaves your machine unless you explicitly enable Cloud Sync.

Which AI platforms are supported?

Currently, Unifie seamlessly integrates with the web interfaces of ChatGPT (chatgpt.com), Claude (claude.ai), Gemini (gemini.google.com), Grok (grok.com), and Perplexity (perplexity.ai).

Is Unifie free to use?

Yes! We offer a generous Free Plan that includes 1 Memory Brain, 50 Knowledge Nodes, and 5 automated AI context injections per day. If you are a power user, you can upgrade to our Pro or Ultimate plans for multiple Brains, higher node limits, and optional cloud sync.

What is a "Memory Brain"?

A Memory Brain is a distinct contextual container. For example, you can have a "Work" Brain that remembers your coding style, project guidelines, and company architecture, and a "Personal" Brain that remembers your workout routine, dietary preferences, and hobbies. Unifie injects the active Brain's context into your AI chats.

Does it use my API keys?

No. Unifie operates as a layer on top of your existing browser sessions. It does not require you to provide an OpenAI or Anthropic API key. It leverages your active session to orchestrate context.
